Updated Corporate Fitness Amenity at One Financial Center Boston
One Financial Center, located in the heart of Boston’s Financial District, is a Class A office experience with the amenities to match.
With the goal to revitalize the tenant experience, JLL wanted to update the building’s amenity floor to be more modern for current and future tenants. This included their fitness and wellness amenity.
The Fitness Connection (TFC) worked alongside JLL and Kinema Fitness as their trusted fitness center designer and equipment provider. The TFC team was excited to transform the space to provide the best possible corporate fitness amenity for tenants.
With these goals in mind, the TFC team got to work on designing a space that maximized functionality and provided variety for members.
The end result? A luxury amenity that features everything someone might look for in a commercial club experience and more.
The Equipment Line-Up
With a wide variety of demographics that would be using the facility, it was important to have plenty of options for every type of workout.
Cardio at One Financial Center includes treadmills, ellipticals, and climb mills from Matrix Fitness, along with connected spin bikes from SoulCycle, and an Assault Fitness AirRunner and AirBIke.
The strength area is the main focus of the room and offers Matrix Fitness free weights, benches, and racks. The large 8-stack multi-station catches your eye as soon as you walk in the room and is paired with a variety of selectorized machines for cable resistance.
The end of the room features the Escape Fitness bridge functional frame including a squat rack. The variety of accessories and attachments offer unlimited functional training options to members. As functional training continues to be an industry leading trend, this area will undoubtedly get plenty of use.
This property features two studio rooms in addition to their main facility. One room contains a few Matrix spin bikes connected to MyZone for group training classes. The other is a small personal studio that includes some accessories and yoga gear for the individual that wants a more private training experience.

Recovery & Wellness
Incorporating recovery and wellness tools into corporate amenities are close to becoming a must have.
Fit 2 at One Financial Center offers a lounge section that features Normatec Boots from Hyperice for advanced muscle recovery. Additionally, Kinema Fitness and their team offer workshops and one on one sessions to address overall wellness for interested members.
The Final Product
The grand opening of the facility has impressed members and brought them in for a variety of health and wellness experiences. Tenants have been excited to come enjoy a workout. The modern touch and show-stopping design have been a great selling point to current and future residents at One Financial Center. They look forward to continuing a successful health and wellness program.
